The C.P.R. of Strathy
Welcome to Our Home
The Isle of Fara
Eilean Na Caoraich
The Isle of Fara is perhaps Strathy's least known republic. Secluded in the Orkney islands off of the north coast of Scotland, Fara is by far the most remote of Strathy's territories. However, it is, in fact, the largest of all Strathy's republics at roughly five square kilometres.

The history of Fara is its greatest claim as it was once used as an anti-aircraft base, stopping German bombers attacking Scapa-Flow in the second world war. As a matter of fact, many of the old buildings remain on the island with the remains of the old railway that ran about the island still evident.

Fara is also the only republic within Strathy to have a large, still body of fresh water present. Whilst much is known about Fara and its past, the information has been gathered by satellite reconnaissance and internet based research. As of yet, no Strathan citizen has set foot on the island, making formal claims to the land somewhat shaky.

Strathy continues to hold a claim to the island and still regards it in the same respect as Brockburn Province, under occupation by the United Kingdom.
